...a walking dream: Dive Trip

I didn't think diving would really be my think as I tend to panic a lot and get pretty claustrophobic, but I had such an amazing time! It was so much fun and I was super proud of myself for not panic at all. For those of you who know me well, know that when I'm nervous I go super quiet... yes that was me before we started. Very quiet and thoughtful indeed. lol. The reef was amazing too, I was so impressed, although I'm coming to learn its not really the reef thats super colorful its more the fish... the pictures can be a little deceiving... I can see how the reef is slowly getting destroyed too. Which is a shame. I was swimming with a huge sea turtle for so long when I was snorkeling, it was a shame though because typically I didn't have my camera at the best moment as Errol had it when he went for his second dive. Watching a sea turtle do its thing was such a brilliant experience. I only did 1 dive whereas Errol did too. I didn't have any problems the whole time, until we got to the last and final meter where they wanted us to stand on the sand, and my left ear just wouldn't equalize. So frustrating, its so painful if it doesn't equalizer... but every time I rose back up a meter it was fine. Not a big deal, I just didn't want to risk doing the second dive that went deeper than the first one. Besides if I'd gone on the second dive I wouldn't have been able to swim the turtle. So I'm Happy. Such a fantastic day!
